"I must confess..."

On this journey to get free from fear and doubt, God has been leading me through His Word by way of some amazing teachers and preachers who are passionate to see God's people get set free. I am learning so much about how to wield the Word of God, the differences between soul and spirit and what it takes to really believe in my heart and not just confess with my mouth.  I am learning the deeper meaning of what it means to really believe, what it means to really have confidence (full trust) in God's Word.

In a previous post I shared that the only way to maintain confidence in God's Word is to allow patience to do her work in our lives. As I have been working on that and God is really pushing me forward in that, God has truly been delivering me from fear! But now, God is pressing me further and further in to where I can actually see the manifestation of that which I believe. But in order to see that, I have to have faith and in order to have faith, I have to believe, in my heart, first, what God is saying and then confess it with my mouth. While the other way around is okay, it's not what will ultimately set me free.

Hebrews 11:6, " And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that he rewards those who diligently seek Him."  Faith has to be in two places, my heart and my mouth. My heart is my confidence, established upon the Word of God. My mouth has to confirm what's in my heart!

Creflo Dollar said, " All we need to see is God make a way, one time, where there is no way and we will have it!" If you are reading this, think back, try and remember when God has made a way where there is no other way and apply it to this current trial. WHEN I BELIEVE WHAT'S IN MY HEART, I CAN CONFESS THAT I AM WHAT I BELIEVE! Powerful!!!!

We got saved because we FIRST believed in our heart that God is real and then we confessed it with our mouths, right? This applies to EVERYTHING...I believe in my heart that I am healed and then I confess with my mouth that I am healed and that's when I see the manifestation of it.

How do we believe that much so that we can confess and see miracles? The answer: HIDE GOD'S WORD IN YOUR HEART! Study it, eat it! Meditate on it day and night! The bible says in Matthew 4:4, " Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." That says to me that we cannot live, fully, without the Word of God. Do you eat once a month or even just once a day? Uh...I know I don't...I eat everyday, pretty much all day...we have to treat the Word of God that way or we will never really see what God has for us! 

In conclusion, if you want to see a physical manifestation in your life, get in the Word of God. I challenge you, when I say you, I mean me to, to continue to press into to the Word of God...it's our food...it's our freedom. The more I eat, the more I want...
